Just as good as salon laser, at a fraction of the cost
I have had professional laser treatments at the salon many years ago so I needed a touch up. I tried another IPL over several months with disappointing results. This unit is the bomb. The unit has a cooling device built in that is amazing. Zero irritation, easy and quick to use with excellent coverage. At exactly 5 weeks I found a total of 5 hairs in one spot, and that is it.

Real results at an affordable price
I have a sand-beige skin tone and coarse, thick, jet-black underarm hair. After a little over a month of using this 1–2 times a week, I have never seen my underarm hairs this thin and sparse. The hair also grows back so much slower. There are even some bald patches where the hair does not grow anymore.

It has worked great for my armpits. I did the recommended 3× a week and used level 5 in all areas. After 3 weeks, very little hair was growing back so I reduced to 2× a week. My skin is olive brown, basically the last recommended skin tone. The cooling function works great.

Does it hurt?
It should not. The Ice Cooling Care plate chills your skin by up to 8°C as each pulse fires, which takes the sting out. Most users describe a warm snap, like a light elastic band. If a level feels sharp, drop one step — nine levels exist precisely so you can find yours.
Will it work on my skin tone and hair colour?
IPL targets the melanin in the hair, so it works best on dark blonde to black hair against light to medium-brown skin (Fitzpatrick I–V). It is not effective on white, grey, red or very light blonde hair, and it is not recommended for the deepest skin tones, where light is absorbed by the skin rather than the follicle.
How often should I use it?
Once every 3–4 days for the first four weeks, then once a week through week 12. After that most people top up every 4–8 weeks to hold their results. The full schedule is printed in the manual.
Where on my body can I use it?
Underarms, arms, legs, chest, back, bikini line, and the face below the cheekbones. Never use it around the eyes, on tattoos, on moles, or on broken or recently sun-exposed skin.
